The latest version of the Kodak Pulse has made staying in touch, with even the least tech-savvy users, easier than ever. Imagine wirelessly sending photos to your parents’ or grandparents’ digital picture frame from your personal computer or as a moment happens, from your smart phone. Not impressed?
Now imagine your loved one having the ability to respond to the photos at the touch of a button, using the device’s intuitive touchscreen display.
The Kodak Pulse does just that, turning the concept of a digital picture frame into a platform for social media interaction. Even if your loved one isn’t involved in social networking, they can still get an elementary taste of it through the device’s user-friendly interface.
Families can send photos directly to the user’s digital frame through email or via their personal Facebook page. Users then have the ability to respond to photos using one of a dozen pre-installed responses (each with its own smiley-face representation), including “Adorable,” “Fun,” “Strange,” and “Congrats.”
Besides having the ability to comment on photos, the Kodak Pulse also has 512MB of internal storage and is compatible with most memory card formats, including those from . The device also has an activity sensor that can detect when others are present to conserve energy when a room is empty.
The Kodak Pulse is available in 7-inch ($130) and 10-inch ($200) sizes.
