A Night at Terrace Park

Beautiful arrangements of bright rainbow-colored flowers covered every inch of the venue and perfumed the air. After walking a short red carpet through a gold and cream balloon archway, guests were greeted with smiling faces and received elegant programs. Amazing appetizers, crepe bar, carving station, pasta bar and a fantasy dessert table delighted guests and seemed never-ending. If you didn’t know better you would have thought you were at a wedding. Instead, this was the grand opening of Terrace Park the new addition at Silverado Senior Living- Sierra Vista.

It was a night of celebration for Azusa community members, friends and family members of Silverado residents and a proud moment for Silverado associates. Terrace Park is the latest addition to the assisted living community specializing in helping those with memory impairing diseases like Alzheimer’s and dementia. Sierra Vista’s signature “Social Neighborhood” is a premier home for residents with “early stage” memory-impairing diseases. High functioning residents can receive innovative and appropriate support, focusing on more cognitive-enriching activities and exercise programs to stimulate their minds and bodies to maintain cognition for as long as possible.

CEO Loren Shook congratulated the associates of Sierra Vista and proudly celebrated the grand new addition. Mayor Joseph R. Rocha, who lives near Silverado, shared his positive impressions of the company, and welcomed Terrace Park with a proclamation on behalf of the city and presented it to Loren.

Designed by Deborah Swanner, Terrace Park includes beautiful room décor and elegant artwork that makes the community feel like a home. All other Silverado signatures were included like country kitchens, memory boxes, and of course pets. The evening was truly a night to remember and enjoyed by all. Congratulations to those that made it possible!
